Ondrej Biza
Intern @ Boston Dynamics AI Institute, PhD candidate @ Northeastern University. Previously Google Brain, CVUT. I research robot learning and scene understanding.
I am a PhD candidate at Northeastern University advised by Rob Platt, Lawson Wong and Jan-Willem van de Meent (UvA). I primarily work in the Helping Hands Lab, but I am currently doing an internship at the Boston Dynamics AI Institute. Previously, I was a student researcher at Google Brain and an undergrad at CVUT.
I am interested in scene understanding (finding objects, understanding their 3D shapes, learning intuitive physics) applied to robot learning. My goal is to train robot policies that generalize over objects and scenes, and are able to capture a large number of tasks. My most current research interest is in robots learning to imitate human behaviors seen in videos on the internet.
